Prayer Group Tips

My article “O Canada” (published as part of the book A Second Cup of Hot Apple Cider) describes a small group of parents praying for their local school community.

To get started, our group drew much of its inspiration from an organization dedicated to promoting prayer for children and schools: namely Moms In Prayer International (formerly Moms In Touch). Our group also used several resources from that organization to help us along.

If you are considering starting or joining a prayer group for your school, make sure you visit the Moms In Prayer website, http://www.momsinprayer.org/. There are already groups praying for children and schools in more than 140 countries!

In particular, if you live in Ontario, Canada, don’t hesitate to contact the Ontario Provincial Coordinator. She will be glad to help you. You can find her details on the Canada page of the Moms In Prayer website.
